Girls on the Run Annual 5K

Chapel Hill, N.C., April 17, 2004 - Many employees of the Company volunteered at the 2nd Annual Girls on the Run 5K Race in Memory of Will Beard, Presented by University of North Carolina Kenan Flagler Business School. Participation at the race exceeded 700 runners. There were many family oriented events that followed the race including Brazilian dancers and many fun activities for children of all ages. Proceeds benefited the non-profit organization Girls on the Run of the Triangle, Inc., that provides a life-changing character development program for girls ages 8-12 that uses running to teach values and a sense of self.

The event was held at the UNC Wellness Center in Chapel Hill, NC for the 2nd consecutive year.
